Sources & update policy

This site is built from published directories and primary legal sources (statutes, rules, and cases). The goal is accuracy - but directories change, phone numbers change, and legal rules get amended. Always confirm important details.

Directory data sources

  • Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry (DLI) published QRC contact directories and related lists.
  • UCWCP (Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program) network list (where available).
  • DLI vendor lists (where available).

Snapshot dates

Many pages show a “data snapshot” date in the footer. That date is the last time the underlying list was updated in this site build. A newer snapshot date does not guarantee that every individual entry is current - it only reflects the last refresh of the source list.

How to request a correction

If you see a wrong phone number, email, firm name, or UCWCP status, use the contact page to send a correction request. If you are a QRC and want to update your profile details, you can do so the same way.

Legal sources for education pages

Education pages typically cite the Minnesota Revisor of Statutes (Minn. Stat. ch. 176) and Minnesota Rules (Minn. R. ch. 5220), plus major cases (e.g., Redgate) when relevant.

Calculator data sources

The workers' comp calculators use rate data extracted from official Minnesota DLI publications:

Rates last reviewed

Calculator tools were last refreshed on 2026-03-07. The DLI rate tables were extracted from official publications on 2026-02-21, and rates are current through 2025-10-01. DLI typically publishes new rates each October; when they do, we update the data files and bump these dates. See the updates logfor rate and law changes.

2026 update: The PPD calculator now branches by date of injury. For injuries on or after October 1, 2026, it uses the increased multiplier table from 2026 Minnesota Laws, chapter 103 (amending Minn. Stat. § 176.101, subd. 2a). The post-payment denial window in the deadline tool also changes from 60 to 90 days for those injuries (Minn. Stat. § 176.221, subd. 1).
